Dr. Stéphane Bonardi, ISAS/JAXA
Stéphane Bonardi completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2014 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
He worked on the modular robotics project Roombots, focusing on the aspects of self-reconfiguration, locomotion learning, and end-user interface.
He moved to MIT-CSAIL as a postdoctoral fellow in 2016 to study the potential use of the modular robots M-Blocks for planetary exploration.
He joined the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS/JAXA) in 2017 to work as a researcher on novel robotic solutions for space exploration and colonization.
